‘2G 연속골→나 아직 죽지 않았어요!!’…한교원 “현대가 derby 승리하고파…선수단 똘똘 뭉칠 것”

After scoring a goal in two consecutive matches, Han Kyo-won (33, Jeonbuk Hyundai) has vowed to win the upcoming ‘Hyundai Derby’ against Ulsan Hyundai.

Jeonbuk was held to a 1-1 draw by Suwon Samseong in the 26th round of the Hana OneQ K League 2023 at Jeonju World Cup Stadium on Wednesday as Han Ho-gang and Han Kyowon exchanged goals.

Jeonbuk remained in third place with 41 points (12 wins, 5 draws, 9 losses) and closed the gap on second-place Pohang (45 points) to four points. However, it was disappointing to see their home winning streak come to an end at eight matches.

Han came on as a substitute at the start of the second half and scored in the 20th minute in a chaotic situation after a corner kick. Han has been in good form of late, scoring a goal in two consecutive games following his last goal against Incheon. Overall this season, he has three goals in 19 K League 1 appearances (10 starts).

“The three points were more important for us today, but I was disappointed that we didn’t get them,” Han said after the game.

The scoring situation was quite messy. “In the second ball situation, it wasn’t anyone’s ball. It was a contested situation and we both lost focus on the ball. It was also hot, so I was lucky that the ball fell to me and I was able to score.”

On the recent team atmosphere, he said, “It’s improved a lot. We knew what we wanted from each other and it was working, so we were confident and we wanted to win. I think we conceded an early goal from a set piece unintentionally, which made the game difficult.”온라인바카라

Han Gyo-won, who came on as a substitute, said, “We were down 1-0, so the coach ordered us to be aggressive and detail-oriented in front of the goal to decide the game. I didn’t go in and detail it, but I’m glad I was lucky to score.”

Despite missing out on the win, Jeonbuk is back on track after the break with a two-match unbeaten streak. Most importantly, they were able to capitalize on the momentum ahead of their next game, a derby away to Ulsan.

“In the Hyundai derby, every player wants to win,” Han said. The players will be focused, and even though it’s an away game, they will prepare as if it’s a home game, so they will stick together.”
