Samsung Lions outfielder Yoon Jung-bin was removed from the lineup after failing to complete a single at-bat.

Yoon started the fourth game of the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League against the Lotte Giants at Samsung Lions Park in Daegu, South Korea, on April 9 as the eighth batter and right fielder.

However, in the top of the second inning, Lee Sung-kyu was substituted for Yoon in right field. A Samsung team official explained, “Yoon Jung-bin was substituted for player protection due to pain in the sole and instep of his left foot.”안전놀이터

Yoon, who was called up to the first team on March 21, is batting .227 with five doubles, one home run, two RBIs and a .710 OPS in 22 at-bats this season.
