Hwang Seon-hong (55), under 23 years old (U-23) Korea national soccer team coach, watched the match between Gangwon FC and Ulsan Hyundai on the spot.

Gangwon FC and Ulsan Hyundai had a confrontation in the second round of Hana One Q K League 1 2023 held at Chuncheon Songam Sports Town at 2:00 pm on the 5th. The match ended with Ulsan Hyundai winning 1-0 thanks to Um Won-sang’s winning goal.

Coach Hwang Seon-hong sat side by side with Choi Young-il, vice president of the Korea Football Association, Kim Do-geun, who was selected as Gangwon PR Ambassador this season, Lee Eul-yong, Yoon Jeong-hwan, and former coach Kim Tae-young. 

Coach Hwang Seon-hong will go to the Asian Games in Hangzhou in September after playing evaluation matches in March, June, and September of this year. In addition to this, it is coach Hwang Seon-hong who has to digest the 2024 Paris Olympics qualifiers.

According to the Korea Sports Association and the Korea Football Association, the Hangzhou Asian Games were postponed for one year, so the range of participation was extended to those born in 1999.

Head coach Hwang Seon-hong, who started building the team, visited the opening game between Suwon Samsung and Gwangju FC on the 26th of last month, and then visited Gangwon and Ulsan to check the players on the spot.
